As a Charter Dispatcher (m/f/d) France, you will organize and manage our transport orders with a focus on France. You will be the central interface between customers, carriers, and our internal team, ensuring reliable and cost-effective transport processing.
Your Responsibilities
Dispatching and organization of charter transports with a focus on France
Purchasing and commissioning of suitable carriers and transport partners
Independent price negotiations with transport companies
Planning and coordination of national and international transports
Management and expansion of a reliable network of French and international carriers
Monitoring ongoing transports and ensuring timely delivery
Communication with customers, drivers, and partner companies
Processing and checking transport orders and transport documents
Maintenance of relevant data and documentation in the transport management system
What We're Looking for in You
Professional experience in transport dispatching, charter dispatching, or freight forwarding
Good knowledge of international road freight transport
Good geographical knowledge of France and Europe
Negotiation skills and a good sense for freight rates
Good communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Office and ideally experience with a transport management system
Very good written and spoken French skills
Your Profile
Completed business training, ideally in the field of freight forwarding and logistics
Proficiency in MS Office and digital scheduling systems
An independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
Strong teamwork, organizational, and communication skills
A sense of responsibility and a good understanding of logistics processes
