Construction start bulk material facility

The orientation of our service portfolio for Klumpp & Müller’s customers in the direction of sustainability continues: we have just started construction of our new bulk goods facility. With this, we are expanding our offer to be able to transport goods coming from the seaports further by water to the port of Kehl. The silo trucks will then be ready and from that moment on they will really only be relevant for the last few kilometers.”This bulk handling facility enables us to save up to 1,500 truck transports per year from the seaports to Kehl,” explains Klumpp + Müller Managing Director Michael Klumpp, who continues, “By changing the transport chain, we are able to ensure significant CO2 savings for our customers.” Thus, the bulk material facility that is currently being built provides the basis for Klumpp + Müller customers to positively influence their own greenhouse gas balance (Scope 3).
