Start of Construction for Bulk Goods Facility

With the construction of our new bulk goods facility, we are expanding our offering for combined transport chains. Goods can be transported from the seaports by waterway to the port of Kehl and then transferred to silo trucks for the last few kilometers.
"This bulk goods facility enables us to save up to 1,500 truck transports per year from the seaports to Kehl," explains Klumpp + Müller Managing Director Michael Klumpp.
By changing the transport chain, suitable transports can be shifted from road to waterway, thereby reducing transport-related greenhouse gas emissions. This gives customers the opportunity to reduce the proportion of road transport within suitable supply chains.
